Dear all,
Connie Ye, a Student Commissioner, designed the logo contest poster and would like to solicit your feedback before April 10.
The fund to cover the logo contest came from the American Express matching program. Sabrina Ho donated $450 to the Dancing with the Stars last year; her company matched another $450. After 10% of $450 goes to CCCA and another 10% to the scholarship fund, the remaining amount is $400.
Your valuable feedback is deeply appreciated.

公民參與 2月會議 Civic Engagement February Meeting

2/26 meeting notes:

Attendants: Kevin, Derek, Debbie, Lian, Hong
Notes: By Hong
1. We all agreed CCCA can not take position on the case Peter Liang’s.
2. We could have provided open forum to community friends and parents so that the community could be well informed. We should always make a note that our opinion represents ourselves instead of CCCA due to the organization limitation.
3. Kevin has initialized a open forum today at F1 classroom with the community friends. These friends have been actively participating and discussing Peter Liang’s case, and other civic engagement topics.
4. Peter Liang’s case provides a good opportunity for the growth of community civic engagement.
5. We’ll find another time to discuss next steps of civic engagement group
