2014年 中國文化節   

經過兩個月的籌備,康谷中華文化中心籌委會在華協的支援下於2014年11月8號成功主辦了第一屆中國文化節。文化節在千橡市的藝術廣場公園舉行,活動內容豐富,包括了傳統文化展覽、書法、茶藝、折紙、珠心算、造紙、歌舞表演等,吸引了千餘名遊客。在這裡遊客們有機會買一個中國結和中國玉石掛墜,再穿上中國傳統服裝照相留念,也可以學著畫一個京劇臉譜。很多遊客留戀忘返,在遊樂中欣賞和學習了中國文化。幸運的遊客臨走還抽得了文化節的大獎 – iPhone6和Tablet等。幸運者名單如下：

The Chinese Cultural Day Expo

After two months of preparation, the Conejo Chinese Cultural Center Planning Committee, with support of Conejo Chinese Cultural Association, successfully hosted the first Chinese Cultural Day Expo on November 8, 2014. The festival was hold in Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Park, including exhibitions of traditional culture, calligraphy, tea ceremony, origami, abacus, paper, dance performances, attracting more than a thousand tourists. The visitors had the opportunity to buy a Chinese knot and/or Chinese jade pendants. They could wear traditional Chinese costumes and take souvenir photos. They could also learn to draw a Peking Opera mask. Many tourists were reluctant to leave. They enjoy and learn the Chinese culture.
Lucky visitors left with raffle awards – iPhone6 and Tablet and so on. They are:
